Hello from Hubbardston! We are thoroughly enjoying our woodpeckers this winter. We have downies, hairies and red-bellies. These birds particularly like the suet cake hanging in the crabapple tree in my front garden. It's so much fun to watch the birds queue up in the tree and wait for the red-belly to eat first, then the hairy, and then the downy. And after that, the chickadees have their turn.
